The study evaluates e-governance and public service delivery in Kuje Area Council, Abuja Federal Capital Territory. With the recurring challenges of corruption, inefficiency, and lack of trust in public institutions, e-governance has emerged as a promising tool for reform. This paper examines how digital platforms and information and communication technologies (ICTs) are being leveraged to enhance access to information, streamline bureaucratic processes, and foster citizen engagement in governance procedures especially in local government administration. The study examined the extent to which egovernance initiatives have been implemented in Kuje Area Council, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and their impact on transparency and accountability. The paper adopts the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as its theoretical framework of analysis. The study combines both qualitative and quantitative methods of data analysis. The study’s findings reveal that while there is growing awareness and some adoption of digital tools, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, low digital literacy, and limited political will continue to hinder the full realization of e-governance benefits. The study concludes that the Kuje Area Council, can enhance its capacity to deliver public services by educating local government employees on ICT-driven solutions, thereby improving the prospects of local government in grassroots development. The study recommends, amongst others, the need to strengthen institutional frameworks, improve ICT infrastructure, and foster a culture of openness and responsiveness in local governance.
