Export Introduction: Grahani (irritable bowel syndrome IBS) a gastrointestinal tract disorder, has acquired the majority share of causative factors such as improper diet and habits, stress, spicy irritant food, oily foods, and bakery products. About 10%–15% of the people in the developed world are believed to be affected by IBS, it is estimated that 45% of people globally are affected by IBS. Chronic diet-related diseases are comparatively increasing due to new lifestyles and eating habits. Main Clinical Findings: The patient visited National Institute of Ayurveda out-patient department with all the symptoms similar to Pittaja Grahani IBS) associated with very low haemoglobin, i.e., 5.7 gm. Diagnosis: The present article deals with a case diagnosed with IBS induced anemia. In Ayurveda, it was diagnosed as Pittaja Grahani with Pittaja Pandu. Interventions: The case was effectively managed with Ayurvedic internal medications. Outcomes: The effectiveness of treatment was assessed by improvement in symptoms and hemoglobin percentage before and after treatment. There was relief in all the symptoms and improvement was also present in the hemoglobin percentage after the treatment. Conclusion: The present case substantiates the effectiveness of classical Ayurveda treatment in IBS-induced anemia.
