Theoretical proposal for an instrument architecture that preserves geometric coupling signatures rather than collapsing them to pixel intensity. Four sequential layers: Orientation, Coupling, Sequence, Probabilistic output. Hardware innovation: biodegradable orbital mirror array at L1 where scheduled degradation encodes temporal information into the baseline. Outputs both backward reconstruction (formation history from geometric residue) and forward projection (predicted evolution of current coupling state). Enables reading dissolved birth cluster geometry from surviving orbital receipts.
