The article examines educational sovereignty as an independent theoretical and legal category relevant to ensuring the state security of the Russian Federation. It substantiates the relationship between educational sovereignty, the constitutional guarantee of the right to education, the stability of the legal regime, and the unity of the national legal space. The study outlines doctrinal approaches to balancing public interests, legality, legal certainty, and the mechanisms of legal regulation in the field of educational policy. It concludes that further development of the conceptual framework and legal instruments is required to secure the autonomy of educational policy while maintaining constitutional guarantees and safeguarding national interests.
