This research paper presents a systematic review of web-based academic and event management systems used in higher education institutions. The study analyzes existing digital platforms that manage academic records, student activities, and institutional events. Many traditional systems rely on fragmented tools and manual processes, which reduce efficiency and limit real-time data access. The research reviews multiple studies related to student information systems, event management platforms, blockchain-based certificate verification, and modern web architectures such as MERN stack applications. Through comparative analysis, several limitations are identified including limited scalability, lack of system integration, and insufficient use of advanced analytics. To address these issues, the study proposes an Intelligent Integrated Academic and Event Management Architecture that combines modern technologies such as microservices, blockchain credential verification, and AI-based analytics. The proposed system aims to improve workflow automation, centralized academic data management, and real-time monitoring of institutional activities. The findings highlight the importance of scalable digital platforms that integrate academic administration and event management into a unified system capable of supporting modern educational institutions.
