Tribes have their own culture. The traditional culture of Tribes are changing due to change in their economy. Changes are prominat in their food, language, clothing, dance-song etc. Development in social economy has left an impact on the indigenous aspects of tribal culture. The tribes have started consuming the products of modernity by replacing their indegeniousness. The objectives of this study were to find out socio-economic pattern of causes of cultural changes among Tribes. Research question of this study were What are the socio-economic pattern of changes in the culture of Tribes? And What are the socio-economic pattern of causes of cultural changes among Tribes? The method used in present study is analytical method. Present study used primary and secondary sources of data. Primary source of data used is informal discussion with Tribes people. Secondary data are also used in writing the paper. The analysis of data shows that there is a changing trends in socio-economic status among the Tribes in West Bengal.
