Inner virtue does not require disciplined cultivation in the sense of effortful thought blocking, suppression of negative states, or the forcible manufacture of positive attitudes. GILE potential is latent in every person — not because every person is already virtuous, but because every person is connected to the Goodness-Myrion (GM) field to some degree. The connection is universal. The potential is universal. What virtue requires is not manufacturing — it is uncovering. The optimal cultivation instruction, in its proper domain, is: **JUST BE.** Non-striving presence allows the latent GM-connection to express itself. Effortful thought blocking does the opposite: it suppresses Potential Tralse Virtues (URB #491) that carry genuine GM-signal, mistakes the performance of virtue for virtue itself, and impedes the very manifestation it attempts to force. The cultivation paradox — "effortless virtue" (which looks like an oxymoron) — dissolves via URB #487: at the level of GM-connection, what appears to require effort is already latent and requires only the removal of obstacles, not construction from scratch.
