The effective dielectric constant versus the fractional porosity of additive‐manufactured alumina cellular ceramic structures is determined on the basis of simulations in the CST Studio Suite and the Nicolson–Ross–Weir method. The results are similar to those obtained using the Maxwell Garnett mixing formula and differ significantly from the results presented in the above work. Therefore, it is concluded that the method used in the work to determine the effective dielectric constant of the structures does not provide sufficient accuracy.
