This study aimed to determine the place of the Taiwanese crisis in the competition between the Sino-American conflict at the top of the international system, as this crisis is one of the effective tools in the two parties’ management of the conflicts taking place between them. The study used the analytical approach to examine the problem of the study and achieve its objectives. The study reached a number of results from Among them: China considers Taiwan part of its national territory and relies on international legitimacy resolutions, even though it currently enjoys almost complete independence from it. In return, the United States considers Taiwan an advanced base against China in the South China Sea region that supports its interests and the interests of its other allies such as Japan and the Philippines. It also considers Taiwan to be an advanced base against China in the South China Sea region. Taiwan is an essential partner for the United States, as the latter relies on it for its semiconductor production. In addition, study centers and research reports do not suggest that China will take military action against Taiwan, implicating it in a broader military clash with the United States at the present time.
