This article examines the issues of forming axiological competencies in the process of developing students’ speech culture. The modern education system pays special attention to the formation of a personality capable not only of expressing thoughts correctly and clearly but also of understanding the value significance of language and speech culture in society. In this context, the axiological approach plays a special role, as it directs the educational process toward the formation of value orientations, spiritual and moral guidelines, and cultural norms of communication. The article analyzes the importance of axiological competencies in the development of students’ speech culture and reveals the pedagogical conditions for their formation within the educational process. Particular attention is given to the role of the teacher, the content of academic disciplines, and the use of national and cultural values in shaping speech culture. It is emphasized that the development of students’ speech culture based on axiological competencies contributes to the formation of communicative culture, moral qualities, and social responsibility of the individual. The conclusion states that the integration of value orientations into the educational process is an important condition for improving the effectiveness of developing students’ speech culture.
