The presentation comprises preliminary research findings on the deliberative process and results of the Citizens' Parliament on Media and Democracy in Slovenia, held in Ljubljana, in 2025, within the project Mapping Media for Future Democracies (MeDeMAP). Two research questions were in focus: 1) How do the CP participants envision the democratic roles of media in their resolutions for furture perspectives and in the process leading to these resolutions? and 2) How is democracy constructed in the CP? Which core components are accepted (or not), and how do the citizens in the CP position themselves towards the relevant political struggles and threats?
