This project provides transcriptome sequencing data from main stem and tiller stem tissues of sugarcane genotypes with contrasting tillering ability collected in Guangxi, China. The dataset was generated to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying genotype-dependent differences in tillering capacity and to support comparative analyses of genes and pathways associated with tiller development.
