Redefining Cosmic Nature: The "Dark Displacement" Hypothesis and the Intrinsic Luminous Substrate

Abstract: This paper proposes a revolutionary physical and cosmological framework that inverts the conventional perspective on the nature of light, darkness, and vacuum. Contrary to the Standard Model, which defines darkness as a mere absence of photons, this study hypothesizes that "Darkness" is an active, dense, and pervasive substance (identified as Dark Matter) that occupies the cosmic vacuum as a material veil. In contrast, "Light" is defined as an intrinsic, fixed primordial state (Intrinsic Substrate) existing "behind" this material veil. Within this "Displacement Theory, " luminous sources (e. g. , stars) do not emit particles; instead, they function as "Displacement Engines" that mechanically expel the dense dark matter at a constant velocity (c 300, 000 km/s), thereby revealing the underlying intrinsic light and "tinting" it according to the source's spectral properties. Furthermore, this model provides a novel mechanical explanation for Dark Energy; the displaced dark matter accumulates in cosmic voids, creating an "Accumulation Pressure" that drives the accelerated expansion of the universe. This hypothesis offers a new path to resolving long-standing enigmas in modern physics by recontextualizing the vacuum not as an empty void, but as a dynamic material medium.
