This work introduces a structural mechanical framework for articulator systems, focusing on constraint-defined equilibrium and regime formation. Articulator behavior is interpreted as the projection of an underlying constraint structure, rather than as a direct descriptor of system identity. Within this formulation, similar observable motion may arise from structurally non-equivalent configurations. The framework establishes a basis for distinguishing articulator regimes through admissibility, dominance organization, and reproducibility conditions, providing a consistent mechanical interpretation of articulator behavior.
