We are very pleased to share with you the proceedings from the IFIP Performance 2025 conference. This special issue features the full short papers and extended abstracts of all accepted regular papers, along with brief descriptions of the poster presentations. Please note that the full versions of the accepted regular papers will also appear in a special issue of the Performance Evaluation journal. The program reflects a wide range of high-quality contributions in the area of performance modelling and analysis of computer communications systems, covering topics such as queuing theory, AI/ML-based techniques for system optimization, pricing, networking protocol analysis, and Markov process modeling in quantum computational settings. The emerging role of quantum computing in performance evaluation was further highlighted through a keynote presentation and a dedicated tutorial delivered on the final day of the conference.
