This repository contains the datasets and R scripts used in the publication entitled "Projected warming disrupts temperate serpulid communities, key engineers of benthic ecosystems: Evidence from in situ thermal experiments" (https://doi.org/10.3354/meps15151), published in Marine Ecology Progress Series journal. It also contains supplemental information about the serpulid morphogroups, from a parallel study titled: "Exploring the Potential of Serpulid External Tube Morphology for Rapid Grouping Assessment in Ecological Research: A Case Study From Southern New Zealand" (http://dx.doi.org/10.1002/njz2.70021) published in the New Zealand Journal of Zoology. The materials include: Primary seasonal pictures analysis (PDF) Seasonal raw analysis and data sets (excel) Finale data sets (CSV) R scripts for statistical analysis and figure generation, with associated functions (R). MID Table - second study (PDF) The repository is structured into folders by data type. Please refer to the READ ME file for detailed instructions. These files support the analyses presented in the manuscript and are made available to promote transparency and reproducibility in ecology research. The merged high-quality image dataset (97 GB) is available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
