Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative technological tool for addressing climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. The increasing severity of global warming, extreme weather events, biodiversity loss, and environmental degradation requires advanced solutions capable of handling complex and large-scale climate data. Traditional climate monitoring systems often lack the speed and accuracy required for timely decision-making. Artificial Intelligence overcomes these limitations by enabling efficient data processing, predictive analytics, and real-time environmental monitoring. This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence in climate protection with a specific focus on Information Technology applications. Using a descriptive and analytical research methodology, the study integrates primary data collected through a structured questionnaire and secondary data from peer-reviewed journals and authoritative sources. The findings reveal that AI significantly enhances climate modeling, disaster prediction, environmental monitoring, renewable energy optimization, and sustainable agricultural practices. Despite its benefits, challenges such as high implementation costs, data privacy concerns, and limited technical expertise hinder widespread adoption. The study concludes that responsible and ethical integration of AI within IT frameworks can strengthen climate action and contribute to long-term environmental sustainability.
