Dear Esteemed Members, It is indeed a pleasure and honour to welcome you all to a place where stories begin, ideas unfold, and perspectives find their voice, the “Surgery Digest”- official journal of the Delhi Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI). It is a privilege to present to you a collection of scholarly articles, insightful case studies, and valuable research contributions from our esteemed colleagues, each aimed at enriching our knowledge base and guiding our clinical practices in surgery. Special kudos to the leadership of the chapter for dreaming big and taking a giant step in reinforcing the academics of the chapter through this mouth piece. This beginning marks yet another step in our commitment to advancing surgical education and practice. As surgeons, we constantly navigate the dynamic landscape of medical science, adapting to new challenges, technologies, and evidence-based practices. Through Surgery Digest, we aspire to create a platform where these advancements are not just showcased but critically discussed, offering insights that impact our day-to-day practice and patient care. Our journal relies heavily on the contributions and enthusiasm of our members. I extend my deepest gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, and especially editorial board members who have volunteered to dedicate their time and expertise to make this dream come true. Your continued efforts drive our mission forward, helping to shape an endeavour that is not only going to be informative but also reflective of the diverse perspectives within our field. In this journal, we intend to cover a range of topics—from innovative surgical techniques to comprehensive reviews on complex cases and emerging trends in the healthcare industry. These are expected to embody the essence of continuous learning and the pursuit of excellence that defines our profession. As always, I encourage all of you to actively engage with the content, share feedback, and consider contributing to future editions. Your insights are invaluable in shaping a journal that truly represents and supports our community. This is also a great opportunity to encourage your trainees and junior colleagues in to writing and publishing. I thank you all for being a part of this journey towards knowledge, collaboration, and growth. Warm regards, Editor-in-Chief Surgery Digest
