The author studied the semantic component of interpersonal perception of parents towards each other and their child in high-conflict families. The author tried to identify the features of the emotional-semantic component of perception of the family relationship system in high-conflict families. The free association method is a sufficiently effective complement to the clinical-psychological analysis of the materials of civil cases, clinical-psychological interviews, observation of joint activities of family members, experimental psychological research within the framework of judicial expertise with the participation of a psychologist, and can also be productively used not only in expert research but also in psychological counseling and therapy for families. during the study the author used the free association method. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study was the psychosomatic approach to the individuals' consciousness. For the first time, an analysis of the formal-content and process aspects of the semantic perception of the system of subjective relationships was conducted, which made it possible to identify the features of regulation mechanisms and a number of semantic constructs that mediate interpersonal perception in the context of a high level of family conflict. Conclusions: 1. The substantive aspect of the system of semantic constructs of parents in the context of harmonious and high-conflict relationships is represented by the relational context. 2. For parents from harmonious families, the leading parameter in assessing "self-image" is "kindness." For men from harmonious families, a positive assessment of "self-image" is characteristic. Women's "self-image" assessment is more differentiated. 3. Spouses from harmonious families mutually evaluate each other positively in terms of interaction characteristics. 4. Parents from harmonious families have a positive evaluation of the child. Women tend to provide a more differentiated assessment of the child. 5. Men from high-conflict family relationships tend to have a positive self-assessment. Women experience a leveling of negative characteristics of the "self-image." 6. In high-conflict relationships, spouses express distinctly negative evaluations of each other regarding both personal qualities and the nature of their interaction. 7. For men from high-conflict families, the value of the child increases. For women, the positive evaluation of the child is manifested through the positive assessment of the child's qualities.
