AbstractThis paper proposes and develops a theoretical model that links the generation ofgravitational waves (GW) to the effect of laser radiation on graphene structures via aterahertz (THz) magnetic field. Within the hypothesis of the terahertz nature of gravity, thevariable THz field induced by a laser in graphene is considered as a source of modulatedflux of hypothetical gravitational quanta — terahertzons. Mathematical dependencies ofthe gravitational wave amplitude on laser power, system mass, and frequency are derived. It is shown that the effect is extremely small for modern laboratory conditions; however, the model opens new directions for fundamental research at the intersection ofoptoelectronics, quantum physics, and gravity theory.
