The account presents a biostatistical study of the Chotanagpur by the application of Raunkiaer’s life-form classification as modified by Braun-Blanquet (1932). The phytoclimate of the region under study has been found to be Geo-Hydrophytic. The groups in order of importance are found to be Therophytes (19.11%), lianas (7.10%), parasites (2.73%), Hemicryptophytes (1.63%).
