Organic electrosynthesis has become a green, efficient and sustainable alternative to traditional organic transformation. Its renaissance has been driven by several factors, such as, the popularization of power supply equipment, reduction in the usage of chemical reagents and the development of novel chemical transformations that cannot be achieved by traditional chemical or photochemical strategies. This review paper covers brief introduction of organic electrochemical synthesis technology to the readers followed by its recent progress in the realization of organic named reactions via electrosynthetic approaches over the past few decades. Here we catalog all electrochemical reactions based on the alphabetical arrangement of the named reactions.
