Abstract

This document defines the controlled vocabulary for the AI Visibility Lifecycle Framework, developed by AI Visibility Architecture Group Limited. It provides authoritative definitions for terms used to describe how web content is discovered, evaluated, trusted, and surfaced by AI systems. This vocabulary serves as the canonical reference for the AI Visibility Lifecycle Framework Community Group (https://www.w3.org/community/ai-web-visibility/) and the starting point for collaborative vocabulary development within that group. The AIVA Terminology Index (DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.18821373) is the originating definitional authority. In the event of any conflict between this Community Group Report and the Terminology Index, the Terminology Index governs. The namespace for AIVA vocabulary terms is https://aivisibilityarchitects.com/vocab#. The suggested prefix is aiva.
