Volume 12 examines the gradient structure of the mechanical fields and the resulting local field variation within the Monistic Continuum Model (MCM). The gradient structure is introduced as a derived but structurally necessary quantity that determines the admissible local variation of the primary field variables and shapes the internal organisation of the medium. Chapters L10–L90 develop a complete structural analysis: from the ontological classification and the core mechanism of local variation to extended dynamics, mathematical formalization, and the integration into the dynamic equations of the MCM. Boundary cases and special configurations highlight the structural role of gradients and their relevance for the internal consistency of the model.
