Abstract :Objective To explore the application effect of high-quality nursing intervention in elderly patients undergoing cardiac pacemaker implantation and its influence on patients' satisfaction. Methods Fifty elderly patients who underwent cardiac pacemaker implantation from January 2023 to June 2025 in the Department of Cardiology of our hospital were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, each group had its own. The control group adopted conventional nursing methods, while the observation group adopted high-quality nursing. After that, the postoperative hospital stay, the time required for wound healing, the probability of complications and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group was significantly lower than the control group (20.00%, P < 0.05). Nursing satisfaction (100.00%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (72.00%, P<0.05). Conclusion High-quality nursing intervention can effectively shorten the postoperative hospital stay and the time required for wound healing of elderly patients with pacemaker implantation, and also reduce the probability of postoperative complications and improve nursing satisfaction, which has key clinical application value.
Cui et al. (Wed,) conducted a rct in Cardiac pacemaker implantation (n=50). High-quality nursing intervention vs. Conventional nursing methods was evaluated on Nursing satisfaction (p=<0.05). High-quality nursing intervention significantly improved nursing satisfaction compared to conventional nursing (100.00% vs 72.00%, P<0.05) in elderly patients undergoing pacemaker implantation.
