Abstract: Amid the growing demand for energy transition and water resource optimization, the scale of hydropower engineering construction continues to expand. However, ecological issues during the construction period, such as habitat fragmentation and environmental pollution, have become increasingly prominent, hindering the green development of the industry. This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the core ecological stress factors during the construction period. It establishes an ecological protection technology system characterized by whole-process management and regional differentiation, while systematically elaborating on core protection technologies and application support mechanisms. The study aims to offer comprehensive technical support for ecological protection during engineering construction, promote the synergistic development of ecological and economic benefits in the industry, and contribute to the practical implementation of ecological civilization.
