Abstract：Journal of Vocational Education (ISSN 3080-8049, eISSN 3080-8057, CODEN: ZDABBU, DOI prefix: https://doi.org/10.66106/zdabbu), an international academic journal published by Quest Press Limited, has recently been officially indexed by the ICI World of Journals database. Operated by Index Copernicus International of Poland, the ICI World of Journals database is a global scientific journal database covering over 45,000 scientific journals from more than 150 countries. The platform supports the synchronous release of articles, abstracts, full-text PDFs, and references in XML format, greatly enhancing the transparency and credibility of the publishing process. This indexing by the ICI World of Journals database represents an important milestone in the journal's international development strategy, marking the recognition of the journal's academic quality and publishing standards by an authoritative international platform, and significantly enhancing the global visibility and academic impact of Chinese vocational education research. Adopting the gold open access (Gold OA) publishing model and complying with the CC BY 4.0 license, the journal provides permanent free access to all full-text articles. This article systematically introduces the platform features of the ICI World of Journals database, as well as the journal's basic information, disciplinary positioning, and development vision, aiming to provide comprehensive academic guidance for global vocational education researchers and to promote Chinese vocational education research to the center of the world academic stage.
