The integration of traditional knowledge systems into modern higher education is a cornerstone of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This paper presents a comprehensive model for such integration through the Master of Science (M.Sc.) (Indigenous and Traditional Therapies) program, a two-year postgraduate curriculum developed by the Department of Complementary and Alternative Medicine at Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Designed in accordance with NEP-2020, University Grants Commission Guidelines of March 2023, June 2024 and March 2025, and an Outcome-Based Education pattern with Choice Based Credit System (CBCS), the curriculum bridges ancient healing traditions with contemporary scientific and research methodologies. This paper outlines the structural design, the implementation strategies, the flexibility of academic pathways (practical training or research), and the anticipated professional outcomes of this pioneering academic endeavor.
