The rapid transformation of education in the 21st century has shifted the focus of English language teaching from traditional methods to the development of essential competencies such as communication and collaboration. These skills are central components of the 4C framework and play a crucial role in preparing future English teachers for professional practice. This study explores the theoretical foundations of enhancing communication and collaboration skills in pre-service English teachers. The paper emphasizes the importance of interactive and learner-centered approaches in teacher education and highlights their impact on improving both linguistic competence and professional readiness. The findings suggest that integrating these skills into teacher training programs enhances teaching effectiveness and supports modern educational demands.
