This working paper presents the conceptual foundations of the Cesar Sosa Cognitive Framework Series, introducing and formalizing a set of original theoretical constructs aimed at understanding cognition in technologically mediated environments. The document develops two core concepts: Compatible Cognitive Communication (CCC) and Reconfiguración Cognitiva Mediacional (RCM). CCC is defined as an adaptive mediation framework that aligns communicative processes with the cognitive singularities of the subject, enabling meaningful interaction within digital environments. RCM is conceptualized as a non-linear and recursive process of mediated cognitive transformation through which subjects with a propensity toward external operational dependency reorganize their cognitive and symbolic structures toward relative autonomy. The framework also introduces the notion of the vulnerable digital subject, characterized by structural exposure to non-compatible mediation systems, as well as the concept of edifying thinking, understood as a constructive and self-regulated mode of cognition emerging from mediated interaction. Additionally, this work proposes a shift from digital inclusion as access toward cognitive inclusion as compatibility and mediated autonomy, contributing to research in education, cognitive science, communication, and human–AI interaction. This document constitutes an original theoretical contribution and is part of an evolving conceptual series developed by the author.
