The study aimed to reveal the reality of mathematics teachers’ use of artificial intelligence applications in the educational process. To achieve this, the researcher designed a questionnaire consisting of (26) statements; Distributed into three main axes, the study was applied to (315) mathematics teachers in the general education stages. The results revealed that the degree of mathematics teachers’ knowledge of the importance of employing artificial intelligence applications in the educational process; was high, while the degree of mathematics teachers’ use of artificial intelligence applications in the educational process was low, and the challenges facing mathematics teachers in employing artificial intelligence applications in the educational process were high, The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample on the three study axes due to years of experience, educational stage, and number of training courses in the field of technology. The study recommended a number of recommendations, the most prominent of which is including the artificial intelligence course as one of the courses in mathematics teacher preparation programs, working to include it as a basic subject in the general education stages.
