Digital technology has significantly contributed to the education system. This research paper explained the types and challenges of digital technology. The present study has analysed the review of the strategies to overcome challenges in digital technologies in education. It highlights the personalization of teaching, collaborative learning, and the development of digital skills as the main benefits. Digital technologies in education develop engagement and personalize learning but face various challenges, such as the digital divide, data privacy risks, insufficient funds for adequate resources, inadequate infrastructure, and a lack of teacher training. The researcher has used a descriptive approach. The study describes the types of digital technology in education and challenges for digital education. The method adopted is analytical insofar as it seeks to review the strategies to overcome challenges in digital technologies in education. The study is based on secondary data. The required data has been extracted from articles and websites. The conclusion highlights major challenges of digital technology in education: network connectivity and insufficient funds for digital technology. In digital education the role of the teacher remains vital, being the technology education environment in the school. The successful technology in education wants a joint effort by educational institutions, governments, and societies to maximize the benefits of innovations and promote more accessible and inclusive education.
