Abstract: This paper presents Version 1. 2 of the cosmic energy compression theory of gravity, building on the foundational insights from Version 1. 1 ("New Insights to Gravity, Dark Matter and Dark Energy"). Using the bus-wake analogy—where a moving vehicle creates a low-pressure cavity that surrounding air rushes into, trailing dust behind—gravity is reinterpreted not as a pulling force or spacetime curvature, but as the compression of cosmic energy into cavities created by celestial bodies through their spin, mass, density, and orbital motion. The theory is tested against detailed energy composition data of the Sun's core and outer layers. The Sun's core shows thermal energy dominating (70–85%) balanced by an inward compression, while outer layers show weaker compression allowing convection and radiation escape. A one-liner formula is derived: Gₛun = Pcosmic − ΔC (spin, mass, density, orbit) where solar gravity equals the cosmic energy background pressure minus the compression deficit (cavity depth) created by the Sun's properties. The theory successfully reproduces all successes of General Relativity—solar system tests, binary pulsars, gravitational waves, and lensing—without invoking dark matter or dark energy. Galaxy rotation curves are explained by persistent cosmic energy compression in galactic halos, and supernova acceleration is explained by the same cosmic energy pushing outward at cosmic voids or the universe's edge. Quantitative fitness to observational data remains testable once a full mathematical formulation is provided.
