Human Activities and Climate Change: A Review Assessing the Impact on Global Biodiversity and Ecosystem Resilience

Human activities and climate change are significantly impacting on global biodiversity and ecosystem resilience. The natural world is facing unprecedented threats, including habitat destruction, pollution, overexploitation of resources, and climate change. These impacts are having far-reaching consequences on ecosystems worldwide, leading to species extinction, ecosystem disruption, and loss of ecosystem services. Biodiversity is essential for maintaining healthy and resilient ecosystems. Ecosystems provide a range of services, including clean air and water, soil formation, and climate regulation, which are essential for human well-being. However, human activities and climate change are driving biodiversity loss and ecosystem disruption at an unprecedented rate.
