This deliverable D8.2 is the first version of the Data Management Plan (DMP) of the ACT4CAP27 project and is meant to convey an overall consistency of data produced and used in the scope of the project, consistent with the objectives of ACT4CAP27.The Data Management Plan (DMP) outlines the comprehensive strategy for managing data, ensuring it adheres to the principles of being "as open as possible, as closed as needed". It details the procedures and responsibilities for data management, including the roles of the data controller and processor. The DMP summarizes the collected data, its purpose, and its relevance to the ACT4CAP27 project objectives. It also covers additional outputs generated by the project, such as publications and tools. The plan provides guidance on ensuring data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Re-usable (FAIR). Additionally, the DMP specifies the resources allocated for data management, including personnel, infrastructure and funding. It explains the measures in place to ensure data security and discusses ethical considerations, including compliance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).This DMP will be regularly updated and will include detailed DMP’s of project partners for which this is deemed necessary. The updated D8.2 will therefore include a template to offer guidance and assure compliance with the rules and procedures. This template will be set up by the project coordinator. All consortium partners actively engage and adhere to the DMP. Funding acknowledgement Funded by the European Union. Grant Agreement No. 101134874.
