This study presents a computational and conceptual analysis of a digital light installation designed to simulate the emergence of insight, commonly described as a “lightbulb moment.” The system is modeled as a structured matrix of discrete visual elements, where a white lattice represents a multi-layered cognitive substrate and a golden trajectory encodes a dynamic inference pathway. Using methods grounded in discretization, coordinate mapping, and symbolic computation, the visual structure is reconstructed as a formal data representation model. The results demonstrate how pixel-based configurations can approximate processes of cognitive emergence and data-to-insight transformation within artificial systems. The study further introduces a dual epistemic framework — findeology and discovereology — to conceptualize the transition from structured information to emergent meaning.
