The subject of the study is the relationship between the type of motivational readiness (autonomous and controlled) and the choice of specific strategies for professional self-realization. The analysis focuses on the question of how the degree of internalization of external professional requirements determines the choice of behavioral strategies in conditions of weakened external regulation. The position is empirically verified that it is the depth of independent acceptance of requirements, and not the format of work organization (full-time, hybrid or remote). It serves as a key condition for the transition from reactive adaptation to proactive development. The work uses a heterogeneous sample of specialists, which makes it possible to assess the stability of the discovered patterns and confirm the universality of self-determination mechanisms regardless of the external conditions of activity, thereby ensuring the external validity of the results. The methodological basis of the research is an integrative approach that combines the principles of the theory of self-determination and the methodological apparatus of the "Personality Self-realization Questionnaire" by S.I. Kudinov. The scientific novelty lies in the empirical confirmation that the relationship between the type of motivational readiness and self-realization strategies is universal and does not depend on the degree of external structuring of the environment. The data obtained show that in this sample, the employment format does not have a moderating effect on the relationship between the quality of motivational regulation and self-realization strategies, being inferior in importance to the internal processes of internalizing external requirements. A stable positive correlation of internal and autonomous motivation with all components of self-realization has been revealed, as well as a negative relationship between controlled motivation and indicators of subjective well-being, which confirms the negative impact of heteronomous regulation on the process of personal development. The main conclusion confirms that the type of motivational readiness is a stable predictor of the choice of self-realization strategies, where the key condition for their productivity is the degree of integration of external requirements into the value-semantic structure of personality. The practical application of the results covers the field of personal counseling (in dealing with existential crises and loss of meaning) and the development of educational programs focused on the formation of an active subject position and the prevention of maladaptation in conditions of high uncertainty.
