Rishi Aurobindo is a luminous star in the fields of both spirituality and practicality. He was a great philosopher, freedom fighter, an eminent educationist and a yogi. He passed the I.C.S exam but denied any designated service under the British rule .Rather he choose to free his country from the foreign rulers. He was arrested for his direct and active freedom movement and during his imprisonment he got an opportunity to meditate over the spiritualism. During his studies of holy scriptures, he conceived the supremacy of spiritual power. The conventional thought about education proclaims that the all round development of child is desirable and advocates for the highest attainment of divinity. His thoughts and sermons led us to the spirituality with our common and spontaneous scientific realization(Minor, Robert N.1979). His education philosophy is based on philosophy of his life. He established the supremacy of the spirituality in the fields of education and he has made us understand that without spiritualism education is imperfect itself. He believed in integral education which means all round development of his self -physical, mental, emotional, psychic, and spiritual. He established Auroville ,a unique ashram and school that created a bridge between India's ancient past and the future of mankind and the world's most diverse community. Sri Aurobindo has an integral vision that sees everything in the movement of one and develops the methods and practices of Integral Yoga. In his yogic vision, he not only tries to solve the problems of humanity but also attempts to make a very bold move of transforming the whole earthly existence into a divine existence through one large stride. The philosophical and theological ideas of Sri Aurobindo have significantly influenced modern educational thought. His concept of spiritual evolution and belief in the Divine presence within every individual present education as a process of inner growth and self-realization. This paper examines how his ideas, including Integral Yoga and the role of consciousness, contribute to holistic education. Aurobindo emphasized the development of physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of the learner, while rejecting rigid and rote-based systems. His approach supports freedom, creativity, and learner-centered methods. Institutions like the Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education reflect these principles. The study highlights the continued relevance of his philosophy in shaping meaningful and value-based education today.
