The increasing integration of digital technologies into education has significantly transformed pedagogical practices, particularly in English Language Teaching (ELT). Blended learning, which combines face-to-face classroom instruction with online learning components, has emerged as a promising instructional approach capable of addressing the linguistic, cognitive, and professional demands of 21st-century learners. This exploratory study investigates the effectiveness of blended learning in enhancing English language proficiency while simultaneously fostering essential 21st-century skills, including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and digital literacy. A mixed-methods research design was employed, involving 120 secondary school students and four English language teachers. Data were collected through pre- and post-achievement tests, student questionnaires, teacher interviews, and classroom observations over a 12-week instructional period. Quantitative findings reveal statistically significant gains across all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—while qualitative data indicate increased learner engagement, autonomy, confidence, and collaborative behaviour.
