Advanced multimodal imaging incidentally identified a rare double-chambered left ventricle in a patient presenting with chest pain.
Case Report (n=1)
Demonstrates the utility of advanced multimodal imaging in diagnosing rare congenital anomalies such as double-chambered left ventricle.
Double-chambered left ventricle is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly characterized by the division of the left ventricle into two chambers by muscle bands or an abnormal septum. This article presents a case of a patient who complained of chest pain and was incidentally diagnosed with a double-chambered left ventricle. This case underlines the importance of advanced multimodal imaging in identifying rare congenital cardiac anomalies and contributes to the limited clinical literature on double-chambered left ventricle.
Kangel et al. (Tue,) conducted a case report in Double-chambered left ventricle (n=1). Advanced multimodal imaging was evaluated. Advanced multimodal imaging incidentally identified a rare double-chambered left ventricle in a patient presenting with chest pain.
