The supplementary material provides the complete dataset and methodological details underlying the systematic literature review and service life assessment presented in a systemtatic literature review. It includes the full data extraction table of all included studies (n = 93), documenting study characteristics, relevance, research questions addressed, and assessed risk of bias and certainty; additional descriptive analyses, including distributions by relevance, publication type, temporal development, and geographical origin; and the keyword-based content analysis used to identify thematic research clusters. Furthermore, the appendix contains the detailed framework used for the service life assessment of two representative timber components, including the relevant standards, boundary conditions, and factor-based criteria. The complete calculation procedures and intermediate results for the assessed LVL beech column and exterior wall stud are provided to ensure transparency and reproducibility of the assessment.
