The final deliverable (D3.8 & A3.9) and output of Work Package 3, Copim Open Book Futures project. This report evaluates the successes and failures of the Opening the Future Open Access Books Revenue Model, and records what could have been done differently, and what decisions were made and why over the course of the project (May 2023 - April 2026). It also makes recommendations for anyone implementing the model in the future and signposts to further resources and lessons learned.
