This metabolic switch activates key sensors, including AMPK and sirtuins, which trigger intensive autophagy and "multisystemic proteomic reprogramming". Central to the protocol is the regenerative peak observed around the 72-hour mark, involving leukocyte recycling and haematopoietic stem cell activation.
