Recent works on concept of reincarnation among Yorùbá people exposed the conflicts and confirmation embedded in it within the confines of universality very little or nothing has been said on the indigenous, perspective and exploration of òrìsà influences e.g. Ifá, many studies rely on external interpretation as veritable mean of discussion. The methodology adopted for analysis is found in the insight offered by (Ogbuweze 2007) as theory of death as a mystery man has not been able to unravel and theory of sociology by Steward (1981) as a phenomenon that transcend some social-strata race or age. Both theories work within the precincts of internal interpretations of the nuances of Yoruba Àwórì peoples experience and oral narrative tradition therefore, they are relevant to this study. The data for the study is sourced and discussed within the context of Yoruba belief using Ifa corpus, Ọ̀yẹ̀kú Ogbè, Ọ̀yẹ̀kú méjì textual material to drive home salient points. Findings of this study clearly explicate basic understanding of reincarnation (àtúnwá) is a fundamental aspect of Awori cosmology influenced by òrìṣà (deities) and the individual’s accumulated destiny (àkúnlẹ̀yàn) as a return of a person into world to fulfilled chosen destiny and partial return of ancestors to continue the family lineage
