This deposit contains the Project report for an AI-augmented e-commerce platform designed for Syrian Damascene mother-of-pearl handicrafts, developed at the Arab International University (Faculty of Informatics and Communication Engineering, April 2026). The platform integrates a multi-store Laravel/MySQL backend with a FastAPI AI microservice and three role-aware React applications (customer, store-manager, admin), and exposes four high-level capabilities: (1) embedding-based visual search powered by DINOv2 features over a FAISS index; (2) a bilingual (Arabic/English) retrieval-augmented chatbot built on multilingual e5 retrieval over ChromaDB and Gemini-based generation; (3) generative scene composition via the Gemini Imagen API, exposed both as a customer-facing free-form editing surface and as a store-manager curated-theme marketing tool; and (4) a Stripe-integrated checkout flow exercised end-to-end against the platform's testing environment. The report documents the system's design, implementation, evaluation, and limitations. This work was conducted at Arab International University (AIU), Syria.
