The purpose of this conference paper is to investigate the entanglement of a more general type of two qubitsnonorthogonal pure state by using the linear entropy as a measure of the degree of bipartite entangle-ment. Moreover, we study the behaviour of this entanglement measure in the context of Su(2)-coherentstates theory and we reformulate it as a function of some new parameters that specify coherent states.Finally we find some conditions for maximal and minimal entanglement of nonorthogonal states interms of the amplitudes of spin coherent states
