Parasitic worms called helminths harm many vertebrate animals, including mammals like humans, dogs, and pigs. However, little is known about their chromosomes. This study looks closely at the chromosomes of common helminths such as roundworms, hookworms, and tapeworms taken from infected animal hosts. We collected the worms from the animals' intestines, prepared them properly, and examined their chromosomes under a microscope using a standard dye. The results show clear differences in chromosome sets among these worms, including unique patterns and differences between males and females in some types. These patterns suggest how the worms have evolved and adapted to life inside different hosts. Our findings help us understand worm biology better and could guide new ways to fight worm infections. This work highlights the value of chromosome studies in animal parasite research.
