Abstract

Within this tumultuous moment, it feels like years have passed since the release of the last issue. Energy continues to be an issue that I'm following with concern and interest, as it holds both disciplinary and global significance. In this editorial, I aim to say a bit less than I had in my previous two editorials, while gesturing toward the continued relevance of critical- and praxis-oriented social justice work in the fields of communication design (CD) and technical and professional communication (TPC).
