This study analyzes the impact of pedagogical strategies based on neuroplasticity on academic performance and long-term knowledge retention in university students, compared to traditional teaching methods. Neuroplasticity, understood as the brain's ability to reorganize and adapt to new learning, represents an innovative approach in higher education. In this sense, it emphasizes the importance of teacher training to implement pedagogical practices that take advantage of this principle, promoting active and personalized learning. To this end, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted using the PICO methodology, analyzing 54 relevant scientific documents. The findings show that strategies based on neuroplasticity, such as gamification, experiential learning, and the use of advanced technology, promote greater student engagement, strengthen the consolidation of knowledge, and promote the development of soft skills.
