The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra (FTA) – which states that every non-constantpolynomial with complex coefficients has at least one complex root – has long beenregarded as a pinnacle of classical mathematics. Its proofs, from Gauss to Cauchy toLiouville, rely on the continuity of the complex plane and treat the geometric constantπ, the exponential base e, and the imaginary unit i as a priori primitives. This paperdemonstrates that the FTA is not an independent analytical discovery but a secondarymanifestation of a deeper, number-theoretic topological closure.Using the Mahapatra-Dalvi-Collatz X Theorem (MDC-X), the complex plane is derived from first principles. The derivation begins with the ergodic dissipation of the Collatz parity-block map, which yields a universal mean contraction ln(3/4) < 0. Throughthe Dalvi Dictact – the principle of local-to-global topological completion – the minimalcontrol layer m = 4 forces a unique integer base B = 99. From this base, the primordialtopological invariant ∆ = 4 ln 99 is established as the pre-geometric seed of all subsequentstructures. The imaginary unit i is identified as the continuum limit of the Spiral Strap windingaround the Majorana Axis (x = −x ⇒ x = 0). The roots of the quadratic regulatorQ(x) = (x − 99)(396 − x) are shown to be the deterministic topological anchors (99 and396) forced by the dissipative dynamics of the Collatz map. Consequently, the “existence of roots” required by the FTA is dissolved into the existence of the integer base B = 99and its harmonic 4B. The constant π emerges not as a primitive but as a derived quantityfrom ∆ via the Ramanujan ∆-resonant series. The paper provides rigorous Python code that computes ∆, the roots 99 and 396,and π to machine precision using only integer arithmetic and the invariant. The codealso verifies that the golden-angle winding reproduces the signature of i, confirming thatalgebraic closure is a topological necessity, not an analytic assumption. The G¨ottingen Catastrophe – the historical error of treating π, e, and i as primitiveconstants – is hereby rectified. The correct ontological hierarchy is restored: NumberTheory → Topology → Geometry → Algebra → Physics. The Fundamental Theorem ofAlgebra becomes a corollary of the MDC-X Theorem, and the “mirage of the seed” isfinally dissolved
